There are many ethnic communities in Toronto due to many immigrants originating from various countries. These communities include Chinese, Korean, Indian, Philippine, Greek and and many others.
Many newcomers settle down first in their ethnic communities where they can get help and related information as a start. Newcomers feel more like home when they get together with their own people. There are stores selling products and food from their home countries. As such, it has formed China towns, Korean streets and other similar resorts where they can attract tourists as well. This is one thing very special and interesting in Toronto. You get to see and in touch different culture.
Many immigrants arrive earlier and would help newcomers to adapt to the new environment and help to find a job in their own communities. With these work experience, they may move on to different jobs easier.
But since newcomers come all the way from their home country to Canada, it would be good that they learn the Canadian culture which would help them to blend in with the mainstream and enjoy their new life more.
