Working Holiday - Part 2

Working holidays give you a chance to take a break from your academic or work routine while exploring, learning and earning to fund your travels.

One of my colleagues worked more than 5 years in the accounting field.  She learned the working holiday program from her friends.  At that time, she wanted a break from her work, so she applied for the New Zealand working holiday program.  She worked 3 short-term jobs and traveled all around New Zealand for 15 months.  She really had a precious memory of making new friends, taking adventure tours and short-term overseas working experience.  However she wished she could have learned about the working holiday program several years earlier.  Then she would have traveled to several other countries through these kind of working holiday programs. 

The experience is even helpful in her job hunting after she returned to her home country.  The employers consider her independent, risk taking, possessing with international prospects and being able to adapt to a new environment quickly.  It is really a life changing experience.
